Boomi Connect works with any MCP-compatible AI tool, including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini. Once your Gong connector is provisioned, your team can access Gong data across any of these tools without additional setup.
The Gong MCP connector and all its tools are exclusively available to designated Gong technical administrators. Access is provisioned through your identity provider (IdP) and restricted to users mapped to the Gong technical admin role.
The required scopes depend on which tools are enabled. Since all tools in this connector are admin-facing, the service account or OAuth app used should be provisioned with:
- api:calls:read:basic — for Get a Call, List Calls, Get Call Info, Search Calls
- api:calls:read:transcript — for Get Call Transcript
- api:users:read — for Get a User, List Users
- api:calls:create — for Create Call Record
