FAQ
An admin user in RevEdge will connect RevEdge with the company’s Gong account to help inform revenue notifications in RevEdge. RevEdge pulls in your recent non-private calls and their data from Gong. Any Gong data pulled into RevEdge becomes accessible to everyone with access to your company’s RevEdge account, not just the user who connected the account.
Data: Call transcripts and call metadata (e.g., participants, deal/engagement signals, call stats) are ingested from Gong into RevEdge so it can analyze conversations. RevEdge does not download the Gong audio or video recordings themselves.
Privacy: RevEdge respects Gong’s privacy settings - ex. Calls marked as private or restricted are not pulled into RevEdge.
Disconnect: At any time, an admin can disconnect the Gong account from within the RevEdge app in Settings - Integrations. Previously-synced Gong data is removed from RevEdge immediately, for all users on the RevEdge account.
