UserEvidence turns customer feedback and Gong calls into verified, customer-approved proof - quotes, stats, and success stories cleared for external use. Connecting over MCP lets Gong agents reach that proof directly, so account briefs and rep answers cite a real named customer instead of a generic claim.

## FAQ
### How current is the proof?
Always live. Agents query your UserEvidence library at the moment they answer, so new evidence is available as soon as it's approved. There's nothing to re-sync or re-upload.

### Can reps actually send this to a buyer?
Yes - and that's the value. Proof in UserEvidence carries the customer's approval for external use and a public source link, so a rep can paste a quote into an email without checking whether it's cleared.

### Do we need to be a UserEvidence customer?
Yes. The connection surfaces your own customer evidence, so it requires an active UserEvidence workspace. Talk to your CSM to enable it, or contact us if you're not a customer yet.

### How do I know the agent isn't making proof up?
Everything returned comes from your UserEvidence library, and each proof point links to its public source so anyone can check it. When you pass competitors, the response names any competitor your evidence doesn't address, rather than stretching unrelated proof to cover it. If there's no matching evidence for an account, the response comes back empty and the agent says so.

## Connect
1. In UserEvidence, go to Settings → Integrations → Gong and generate an MCP connection.
2. In Gong, add the connection using the URL provided.
3. Authorize via OAuth as a UserEvidence admin.
4. Confirm by asking a Gong agent for proof on a known account.
