## Enrich Gong Agents
Gong connects to the Vidyard MCP server to bring video engagement into the moment a rep or manager is preparing. AI Briefer already builds the account picture: obstacles, key players, pain points, competition. Vidyard adds a video engagement layer next to it - which of your videos the account watched, how far through, how recently, and which calls-to-action they clicked. It turns viewing activity that used to live only in Vidyard into a signal reps see while they plan the next step.

- **player_search**: find a video or playlist by name and get its player UUID.

***Engagement analytics***

- **get_video_viewers**: who watched a video, how much of it they watched, when, and their approximate location, over any time window. Viewer email addresses are withheld unless a separate PII scope is granted.
- **get_video_analytics**: aggregate metrics for a video - views, view rate, and impressions.
- **get_video_action_analytics**: per-CTA breakdown showing which calls-to-action were clicked, how often, and where in the video.

***Library management***

- **update_video**: update a video's title, description, or tags.
- **get_player**: retrieve a video/player's details by UUID.

- **Keep it current, automatically.** Gong fills the section in for every account and can send it on a schedule or a trigger, so video signals show up without anyone remembering to check Vidyard.

## Connect
- In Gong, open Admin center and go to Ecosystem \> MCP.
- On the MCP Client tab, click New MCP client connection and name it Vidyard MCP.
- **Enter the Vidyard MCP server URL:**https://vidyard-mcp.gw.prod1.vidyard.com/
- Keep Authentication required on. Choose Shared access (everyone uses the connecting admin's credentials) or Personal access (each person signs in with their own Vidyard login, so Vidyard's own permissions apply per person).
- Sign in through Vidyard, pick the account if prompted, and on the authorize screen check the data and tools you want to share. Grant personal-data access only if you need viewers by name or email.
- Back in Gong, review the tools in the Tools step, toggle off any you don't want, and click Save.
