Org admins and IT admins have full control over which connectors are enabled via MCP for teams and agents. Learn more in the WRITER Help Center.

Choosing your OAuth Method
WRITER offers two ways to set up connector authentication, choose the method that best fits your organization's needs:
WRITER Managed OAuth (recommended)
- Easiest and fastest option - no setup work required
- WRITER provides pre-approved OAuth credentials automatically
- Credentials refresh automatically when they expire
- Perfect for most organizations looking to get started quickly
Self Managed OAuth
- You create and manage your own OAuth application credentials
- Provides complete control over your authentication setup
- Recommended for highly regulated industries with specific security requirements
Connect
To get started access the Connectors control page in AI Studio.
- If this is your first time setting up a connector you’ll be given the Connector Quick Start option upon selecting +New connector.
- Quickly enable your teams to authenticate their accounts by selecting the Gong connector from the quick start list.
- Select Save and the Gong connector will be added to WRITER managed OAuth apps and they will then be made available in WRITER Agent for your users.
From AI Studio access the Connectors & Tools page. Here, you can:
- Select + New connector to browse available connectors and learn more about the tools they offer.
- Configure permissions for your organization, deciding whether end-users need approval to connect their services.
- Monitor which agents and users have access to specific tools and track tool usage.
